This policy explains what information Horocast collects, why, and what your choices are — for the mobile app and the horocast.com website (together, the “Service”).

1. Anonymous by design
Horocast has no sign-up. Your identity in our systems is a random device ID generated on your phone. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or any account credentials.
2. What we collect
In the app, you may optionally provide a display name, birth date (and optionally birth time and city) to determine your zodiac sign. We also collect your chosen language, timezone, country, device model and OS version, app version, a stable device identifier used to restore your data after a reinstall, and — if you enable notifications — a push token. The website collects no personal information; your approximate region may be used once to suggest a language.
3. How we use it
We use this information to show readings in your language, personalize greetings and reminders with your name and sign, deliver the daily notification at your local time, restore your purchases and identity after a reinstall, and fix crashes and improve the Service. We never sell your data.
4. Notifications
The daily reminder and push notifications are optional. You can turn them off any time in the app's More tab or in your device settings.
5. Third-party services
Push notifications are delivered by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (with RevenueCat managing entitlements). Ads, when shown, are served by Google AdMob. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. The website uses Google Analytics to measure overall traffic and improve the site; this data is aggregated and processed under Google's privacy policy.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep device data while the app is in use. Uninstalling the app stops all collection. To have your device data deleted from our servers, email us your request — deletion is completed within 30 days.
7. Children
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow standard industry practices to protect your information.
